About The Weekly Landing
Welcome to The Weekly Landing!
In a world of constant headlines, endless distractions, and passing trends, The Weekly Landing is an invitation to slow down and recover the timeless wisdom that has shaped Christian civilization and the American Story.
Every week, I bring together insights from Scripture, Christian theology, history, philosophy, and the great books to encourage thoughtful study, faithful living, and a deeper appreciation for the intellectual and spiritual inheritance we’ve received.
This newsletter isn’t about chasing the latest controversy or reacting to the news cycle. Instead, it’s about returning to enduring truths that have stood the test of time and continue to speak to our lives today.
Our Mission
The Weekly Landing is a weekly newsletter exploring Scripture, theology, history, philosophy, and the ideas that shaped Christian civilization and the American Story.
My goal is to help readers think deeply, live faithfully, and leave a legacy worth preserving by learning from God's Word and from the men and women whose lives, writings, and ideas have shaped Christian civilization and the American Story.

Why This Newsletter Exists
Civilizations endure not merely through wealth or technology, but because each generation faithfully preserves and passes on truth, wisdom, and virtue.
Many of the freedoms, institutions, and ideas we enjoy today were shaped by centuries of biblical teaching, Christian scholarship, and thoughtful reflection on human nature, justice, and liberty. Understanding that heritage helps us appreciate both its achievements and its complexities, while equipping us to engage faithfully with the present.
My hope is that this publication encourages readers to become lifelong students of Scripture, theology, history, philosophy, and the enduring ideas that have shaped Christian civilization and the American Story—and to use that knowledge in service to their families, churches, communities, and ultimately the world, with the primary goal of becoming faithful and fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

About Me
My name is Tyler Loiselle, and I have a deep passion for Christian theology, American history, local history, museums, genealogy, historical preservation, and lifelong learning.
Through my work with historical organizations, museums, genealogy, and historical preservation, I have come to appreciate how closely faith, ideas, and history are intertwined. That conviction ultimately led to the founding of History Landing 1620 and the creation of The Weekly Landing—a place where I can share what I’m learning and invite others to explore these subjects alongside me.
I do not claim to have all the answers. Rather, I hope to be a faithful student alongside my readers—carefully studying God’s Word, learning from faithful Christians throughout history, and engaging thoughtfully with the ideas that have shaped our civilization.
